Did Panda eat up some eHow traffic?
When the first Google Panda (Panda 1.0) update hit the web it was clear that its intent was to go after content farms. At the time eHow.com was showing up for a lot of controversial results. After the first Panda update Demandmedia was quick to publicize that they had not been hit and therefore restating the fact they they were not a content farm.
This left many of us wondering how come it was possible that this seemingly “farmy” site had not been hit by the Panda. Last week´s article on Business Insider said that they are cutting back on content writing.
We know the approximate timeline of the Panda updates so it was interesting to see how they paired up with eHow´s traffic figures.
First I found a Panda update timeline (screenshot below)

Then I compared it with the Alexa data for Ehow.

Alexa eHow data
There is definitely a correlation with Panda 2.0 and April 2011 and again in June 2011.

Panda eHow Correlation?
Reducing the chart timeframe it appears eHow might not have been hit by Panda 2.5 or might have been hit late.

Possible Panda 2.5 hit?
